Chloe is, without a doubt, the love of my life and my better half! She has a rare blend of brains and heart, fueled by a vibrant passion for life -- someone I didn’t think existed, but am eternally grateful to have found. Chloe is many things that I am not -- creative, extroverted, spontaneous -- but it’s those differences that have made my life exponentially more interesting. Chloe is also the most empathetic and generous person I know -- something I admire above all else. She accepts me as I am, and is patient with me even when I don’t deserve it.

My favorite thing about Jason is how kind and gentle he is. He cares very deeply for the people in his life, and is incredibly thoughtful. He works as a contract analyst for a medical device company and enjoys knowing that he is part of helping people obtain life-saving medical treatments. Jason is not afraid to express his emotions or show affection. He loves cuddling and pampering our kitties, and when I have a bad day, he is always there by my side asking me what he can do to make things better. He is my quiet rock, kind, loyal, reliable, and unwavering....

We live in a three-bedroom townhome in a diverse, family-friendly neighborhood. Chloe loves bright, happy colors, so our house is full of bold hues like teal, fuchsia, and yellow!

We have a field up our street where older children play soccer, and a park where the littler kids play. There are always kids biking in the street, walking with their parents, or visiting the ice cream truck. The child we adopt will always have someone to play with in our neighborhood!

Chloe’s favorite part about us moving to Maryland is that we now live only 10 minutes from her parents! We have a very close relationship with Chloe’s parents and we see them several times a month. Chloe’s sister lives in Los Angeles, and Jason’s family lives in Minnesota, so we love going to visit them too.

When we’re with Jason’s family, we like to play board games and card games, and sometimes the competition gets fierce! Jason’s mom always makes the best food, and we love...

Our favorite thing to do is to take little overnight trips to explore new places nearby. In the recent past, we’ve explored Annapolis, built sandcastles at Bethany Beach, eaten great food in Baltimore, and toured historical Gettysburg. We also like to go to DC to meet friends, walk around the monuments, attend baseball games, and browse through used bookstores. We can’t wait to show a child all of these places too!
